Directions to The Peaks

From Roanoke/Points West: 

  1. Follow US 460-East from downtown Roanoke (starts as Orange Ave NW) for 19 miles.

  2. Turn right onto VA-690/Nester Rd and travel for 2 miles.

  3. At the stop sign, turn right onto VA-755/Union Church Rd. Travel for 1.4 miles, and then veer left to stay on VA-755/Union Church Rd for another 1.4 miles.

  4. Veer right to stay on VA-755/Simmons Mill Rd.

  5. Travel .3 miles and The Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center will be on your left.

From Bedford/Lynchburg/Points East: 

  1. Follow 460-West from Bedford for 5 miles. 

  2. Turn left onto VA-690/Nester Rd and travel for 2 miles.

  3. At the stop sign, turn right onto VA-755/Union Church Rd. Travel for 1.4 miles, and then veer left to stay on VA-755/Union Church Rd for another 1.4 miles.

  4. Veer right to stay on VA-755/Simmons Mill Rd.

  5. Travel .3 miles and The Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center will be on your left.
